Scriptures:

Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT  “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

Isaiah 40:12-13 NLT  “Who else has held the oceans in his hand? Who has measured off the heavens with his fingers? Who else knows the weight of the earth or has weighed the mountains and hills on a scale? Who is able to advise the Spirit of the Lord? Who knows enough to give him advice or teach him?”

Isaiah 40:31 NLT “But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.

Reflection Question:

Where do I need to replace worry with trust?

Take time in God’s Word and ask the Holy Spirit to show you places in Scripture where God’s promises are spoken.

Prayer:

Father God, thank You that there is no one like You. You hold the whole universe in your hands, there is nothing too difficult for you. You are the God of the impossible and I can trust in You. Lord Jesus during difficult times when I am unsure of which way to look for relief help me to continue to keep my eyes on You and Your good promises. I surrender my cares to you Lord, I trust that You are in control. I know that I don’t have to be anxious about anything, I can bring all my requests to You and have the assurance of the peace of God guarding my heart and mind. Holy Spirit continue to guide and comfort me, remind me every day of your truth as I continue to trust and seek God first in all I do.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
